No camera? No problem!
Want to create mind-blowing videos with nothing but text?
Without a camera or any photos, you can now generate and animate fictional Photo Avatars with unlimited Looks, which are different poses, outfits, and environments.
Whether hyper-realistic, in an animation style of your choice, or set in a fully fictional world, your imagination is your only limitation!
What’s covered in this guide
In this tutorial, we’ll cover:
- Generating an avatar from text
- Generating additional Looks for your avatar
- Animating your avatar by adding Motion
- Increasing the quality of your avatar to 4K
- Using your new avatars in presentations
Generating an avatar from text
To generate an avatar 100% from scratch with nothing but text, start by clicking ‘Avatars’ on the left nav then selecting the ‘Photo Avatar’ tab.
Next, select ‘Create Photo Avatar’ and choose the ‘Generate’ option.
Enter the fields requested to describe your desired avatar and your desired animation style. The more specific the description, the closer the avatar will match your vision.
Consider starting with physical features like face shape, hair, eyes, and expression, or get more specific with attire (e.g, “a professional businesswoman in a sleek navy suit”).
Select ‘Generate Preview’ and you will be presented with several Looks.
To review more Looks, select ‘Generate again.’
If your Looks do not yet match your vision, select ‘Edit prompt’ to refine your description and select ‘Generate again.’
Once you’ve generated a Look that fits your needs, click it and select ‘Save.’
Generating additional Looks for your avatar
Once your avatar has been created, click on it and select ‘Train model.’
Once the AI model has been trained, you can then enter a short text prompt to change your Look. Make sure to include the word ‘avatar’ in the prompt. For example, you can prompt, ‘change avatar pose to be seated at a restaurant.’
Click ‘Generate’ and you’ll get quick results!
Animating your avatar by adding Motion
To animate a new Look, select the Look of your choice and click ‘Add Motion’ to animate your avatar.
Increasing the quality of your avatar to 4K
You can now significantly increase the visual quality of your avatar by upscaling it to 4K. Simply click on the three dots beside your desired avatar Look and select 'Upscale.'
Free users can upscale twice per day, Creator plan users ten per day, and Team and Enterprise plan users can upscale unlimited avatars.
Using your new Avatars in presentations
Once your new Avatars have been generated, you can use them in any of your videos.
Simply, move them over to your project, position it where it fits best, and you’re set!
