What is HeyGen?
HeyGen is an all-in-one video creation platform that simplifies the process of making professional-quality videos.
With its intuitive interface, powerful editing tools, and a rich library of stock media, HeyGen allows creators of all levels to produce stunning videos with ease. From adding media and editing clips to adding music and voiceovers, HeyGen has everything you need to bring your ideas to life.
How to create a new video project
Log into your HeyGen account.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be directed to the main dashboard, where you can click on the ‘Create Video’ button. Next, select “Avatar Video.’
How to add media
Next, you can either select ‘Start from scratch’ or ‘Use a template.’ For this tutorial, we’ll use a template.
Once you’re inside the template of your choice, you’ll need to select ‘Create with AI Studio.’
Choose your avatar
Next, you can choose the avatar of your choice, and add elements like stickers, images, icons, videos, shapes, and more.
To select an Avatar, go to the ‘Avatar’ tab, and choose from the large selection of avatar styles including ‘Instant’, ‘Photo’, and ‘Studio’ Avatars.
Edit your script and select a voice
Click on the existing script and edit it as you’d like.
You can also change the voice on any portion of your script or add your voiceover to the mix.
How to finalize and export your video
Next, you can review all the assets in your video and arrange it as you’d like.
You can drag clips around, add more media if needed, and more. Once you’re ready, give your video a preview and click the ‘Submit’ button to finalize it. Once it's available, you can access it in your library and use it as you’d like!
