I’ve been using HeyGen for over a year, and honestly, this year the inconsistency with accents has become a serious problem.

The most frustrating part is that the accent sounds correct during preview/pre-generation, but after the final generation, the voice suddenly changes accent completely and sounds like a different person. At that point, the credits are already spent on a video that’s basically unusable.

And this has been going on for a long time.

Considering how limited and expensive credits are, it’s frustrating to burn through them just trying to get one usable output. 

That doesn’t feel fair at all, especially for creators and businesses spending real money on this platform.

What makes it worse is that this issue has been raised repeatedly by users, yet it still keeps happening. Why hasn’t this been properly fixed yet?

At the end of the day, we are losing money on unusable generations caused by a platform issue we can’t control. There should at least be some form of credit protection or regeneration system for failed outputs like this.
