I’m working on an avatar video in HeyGen using the Avatar IV motion engine with an uploaded ElevenLabs audio file for lip-sync.

My current setup is a single avatar scene with the avatar facing the camera. The audio and lip-sync work fine, but I’d like to create a more dynamic video by changing the camera angle / point of view of the avatar, for example:

different camera perspective while keeping the same avatar identity and lip-sync

I’m not trying to change the background or simply zoom/crop the scene. I’m specifically trying to change the actual angle of view of the speaking avatar while keeping the uploaded audio synced.

Is this possible inside HeyGen with Avatar IV, Avatar V, Avatar Shots, or another feature?

If yes, could someone explain the exact workflow?
For example, should I duplicate the scene, choose another avatar variation, use Avatar Shots, create a photo avatar, or use another tool inside HeyGen?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
