What is OpenAI?

OpenAI develops advanced AI models like GPT-4, which powers natural language understanding, and brings human-like conversational experiences to life.

But that's not all! OpenAI also offers an array of voices, each tailored for different styles and purposes—whether you need a warm, friendly tone or a confident, authoritative presence.

How to select an Avatar

First, head to HeyGen’s AI Voice area of the console.

Then, click on ‘Integrate 3rd party voice’ and select OpenAI.

Next, enter the API key of the OpenAI voice you’d like to use and click ‘Confirm.’ The voice will then be added to your library of voices.

How to use an imported voice

Using the video you’ve imported from OpenAI is super easy.

All you have to do is click on the script you’ve created, find the voice you imported into your library, and select it.

Preview and adjust your imported voice

Hit the ‘Preview” button in the video editor to hear the voice in action.

If you don’t like what you hear, you can adjust it by selecting one of the emotion options provided and give it another preview.
