HeyGen Updates

There are some exiting new product updates available today in HeyGen that we want to let the community know about first! These product updates are the result of feedback from the community and we're excited to hear what you think.

HeyGen's new simple text-based video editor is now available for all users! You may already be using the new editor if you participated in the community beta or if you're a new user. This new AI editing studio is simple and easy to use. It puts yours script as the guide for all of your on-screen visuals.

All HeyGen users are either using the new editor as default, or have the option to try the new editor if you are still on the previous AI studio version.


One of the most requested features is here—custom caption styling!

 Captions are currently auto-generated from your script and not yet editable. But good news—
