I want to share with you my absolute joy, for having released my first long form YouTube video with the help and support of this amazing Heygen platform.

Wow what an exciting, and jaw dropping first week at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. 

I left my office, and headed to The Livigno Snow Park, to take in the positive virtues pushed out there by the amazing athletes! 

I am ’Michiko’ and you are watching Virtue Ninja News.

At the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, women are pushing the limits of snowboarding by successfully landing tricks previously seen in the men's competition.   

Kokomo Murase of Japan was the first woman to land the backside triple cork sixteen twenty, in a Winter Olympic Games, to take Gold in the BIG AIR. Scoring 179 points. Go Kokomo!  

The new maximum risk strategy, saw Team GB's Mia Brookes aged just 19, attempting the same manoeuvre, although an over rotation meant that she finished in fourth place.  

But that is not the point here. Her attempt makes the new women's all in, maximum risk strategy mentality. We have seen this in Windsurfing fraternities before, named as GO BIG OR GO HOME.  

So what virtues can we take observe from these two awesome athletes?

Well, certainly COMMITMENT, over a super long period of time. Dedication to go training in all weathers, despite injuries, motivation and energy levels.

 CONFIDENCE? But on an inter stellar level! 

COURAGE, ooh yeah buckets of that, to stand at the top of a pipe or a BIG AIR run, staring down at the crowds hundreds of feet below.   

DETACHMENT from anything else to accentuate their focus. And especially if the woman who went down the run, before them fell and is in great pain.

I mean, how do they do that? 

Sure, it's easy to say I couldn't do that, but there is a special place in everyone's heart, soul and mind that can overcome such existential well dread and fear.  

COMPASSION and FRIENDLINESS!. These are my big stand out virtues, for the women at this year's Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.    

No matter how much they individually wanted to win, they each congratulated and supported each other. 

The camaraderie, was truly heart warming, as these women showed immense respect and encouragement for one another.
