I have raised a support case on this a week ago and am getting no resolution except for workarounds like “don't use apply to all”, or “don't use powerpoint import”.  

The following steps consistently trigger the error:

Import: You upload a .pptx file to HeyGen.

Settings: You select "Image Background" and "Add Speaker Notes to Your Script."

Verification: The file uploads successfully. You verify that the slides (visuals) and the script (text) are perfectly aligned. Scene 1 matches the Intro, Scene 3 matches the specific learning outcomes, etc.

The Trigger: You select a specific scene to change the Voice or the Avatar (e.g., selecting "Freja").

Execution: You click "Apply to all scenes.

Immediately after applying the change to all scenes, the alignment between the visual slide and the text script is corrupted.

The "Shift": The script content does not stay locked to its original slide. Instead, the text appears to "slide" down the order.

Specific Example: In your video, the text that belongs to Scene 4 ("Fifth, platform-agnostic skills...") is visually removed from Scene 4 and reappears in the text box for Scene 5.Result: This creates a cascading error where the avatar is speaking the content for the previous or wrong slide against the current visual background, rendering the video unusable without manual re-entry of all text.

The issue is not related to the specific file upload, as the initial processing works perfectly. The bug is located in the "Apply to all scenes" function within the editor. It appears that when HeyGen refreshes the project to apply the new avatar/voice globally, it fails to respect the original index mapping between the PowerPoint slides and the generated script blocks.

This issue is still unresolved when I just tried today.
