since last week I have been running into a consistent issue with the Avatar 4 render engine and the documented 180 second limit.

According to the FAQ and product documentation, Avatar 4 supports up to 180 seconds per scene. This is also exactly how my workflow has been set up for weeks: I render multiple scenes with Avatar 4, each scene clearly below 180 seconds, inside one project or workflow.

As soon as the total video length goes beyond roughly 180 seconds, Avatar 4 refuses to render further scenes or fails.

It feels like the 180 second limit is suddenly applied per video instead of per scene, which directly contradicts the documentation and breaks existing workflows.

I have described this behavior to support three times, including that my pipeline is explicitly built around Avatar 4 and the documented per scene limit. Instead of seriously investigating the bug, I keep getting the suggestion to switch to Unlimited Mode, and being told there is a pause in my scenes, which is not a real solution in my case and does not address the root cause. I am only using imported audio files, exported directly from 11labs, so there are no pauses. It also ignores that the documentation clearly states 180 seconds for Avatar 4 per scene.

From a user perspective this is quite frustrating, because

the behavior changed without any visible notice

support seems to push a different product mode instead of fixing or clarifying the Avatar 4 limitation

Could someone from HeyGen please confirm whether this is a bug, an undocumented change in how Avatar 4 handles duration, or a misconfiguration on the backend side? And if it is a bug, is there an ETA or at least an acknowledgement that this is being worked on?
