How to create a video? Why? AI Studio's current limits

so far I was trying different ways to create a video. Of course I am new to HeyGen but the time required feels a bit high. Maybe I am missing something. Therefore I would like to know how you create a video fast (length just about 3 min).

voice script with tone settings (for voice director, approx. 15 changes)

File with text for the on-screen text (and also where it should appear)

one short video which will run for some seconds at one point

of course the avatar and his voice are ready to use

I have already used the video agent (several different approaches) and the AI studio directly. Of course everything will lead to success, depending on how much time you use for fine-tuning at the end. 

What would you recommend me - how to do it fast (without hours of fine-tuning)?

Well, why I am asking. I am following HeyGen for a while and it sounds (and is) really interesting. So I invested last week three days for intensive testing. The focus was on Voice and Picture Editing before testing Avatar Animations (here I expect the core strengths lies).

In a nutshell - even for a video with just one person - AI studio in the current version (2026-01-09) does have limitations. I am sure these will be fixed in the future. 

do all audio recording yourself  (due to limitation that only one voice director setting is possible in one scene - so recording it yourself is faster)

based on this audio create your avatar (here i have to do more testing but I expect this will be perfect as the core strength of heygen)

download this video (avatar and audio) and use your video editor to add all other media files you need (because media upload and media appear/disappear properties are buggy)

If you have an alternative way, which might save time - please let me know!

If someone from HeyGen is reading this - please inform me when you have removed this limit and these bugs!
