Want to bring your scenes to life? You can animate any element in HeyGen including text, images, and avatars with just a few clicks.

Start by selecting the element you want to animate, and you’ll see its animation markers appear in the Script Panel. These let you control exactly when the element shows up and disappears during your video. Drag the markers to line up with the moments in your script where you want things to happen. Whether it's a dramatic entrance or a subtle fade-out, you've got options like fade, slide, zoom, and pop. After picking your animation, you can adjust how fast or slow it plays using the duration slider.

Adding scene transitions to your video

After creating your video in the HeyGen editor, adding transitions is quick and easy. In the bottom timeline bar, simply hover over the scene where you want to add a transition. Click on the three dots and select 'Add Scene Transition'.

You’ll be presented with a selection of transitions to choose from.

Once you've selected a transition, you can set the duration to control how long the effect plays between scenes. You also have the option to apply the transition to just the current scene or to all scenes across your video.
