Video Agent (beta) [01:59]
What it is:
A new agentic video creation workflow that brings videos to life with a single prompt.
Where to find Video Agent beta:
Entry points: HeyGen home banner, left nav, and Projects.
How Video Agent beta works:
Prompt → first draft with a short chat step; community gallery shows real videos plus the prompts used.
How to edit your Video Agent videos:
- Chat on the left - type what you want to update.
- Light editor for global changes: Script, Avatar, Voice, Music.
- Go deeper: Edit in Studio for fine control, scene-by-scene avatar swaps, and pronunciation fixes.
- Projects Page: your sessions and videos live in under your Projects page.
Notes on Video Agent:
- Duration up to 5 minutes on paid plans. Includes stock media.
- Use your own avatar via avatar ID in the prompt or pick from My avatars in the light editor.
- Character consistency across scenes is expected; multiple avatars in one scene is not yet supported; reusable templates are on the roadmap.
Nano Banana for Photo Look Editing [07:02]
What is photo look editing with Nano Banana:
Precisely edit any of your photo looks with natural language: change background/hair, add products/logos.
Why use it:
- Works from a base photo/look; great when you want to keep the pose/composition and make targeted changes.
- Supports multiple image references.
Flux vs. Nano Banana — When to use which [08:36–10:29]
Flux: Good for generating entirely new scenes. (big pose/outfit/background changes).
Nano Banana: Good for precise edits to an existing shot (no massive pose change).
Speed & limits:
- Nano Banana is ~50% faster per image.
- Flux requires a one-time ~2-minute train (then ~30s generations) and performs best with 20+ photos across angles/poses.
- Limits match look generations with Flux: 100/month on paid plans; 1 credit per image with the generative add-on.
Photo Avatar “Unlimited Mode” — Major Upgrade [11:54]
What is changing with Unlimited Mode for Photo Avatars:
Now delivers full body + background movement (hands, accessories, trees, waves, everything moves).
How to use the unlimited mode:
- No need to “add motion” first. Upload a photo, type a script, generate.
- Under the hood: a one-time Avatar 4 motion pass becomes training footage for your video avatar.
- Looping: generally avoid loops under ~30s; longer scenes may loop. If you don’t love the motion, re-upload or try a different photo.
Credits & mode control:
- Photo avatars default to Avatar 4 with 10 minutes/month; switch to Unlimited when you run out. You can buy more minutes via generative credit packs.
- Clearly choose Avatar 4 vs Unlimited (and Quality vs Unlimited) before generating; UI shows remaining time/credits.
Revamped Avatar Navigation [16:10]
- Revamped single, centralized Avatar page for creation and management.
- Create new avatars/looks from one entry point; filter looks per avatar without extra clicks.
- Unified prompt bar: generate new looks with Flux or make precise edits with Nano Banana.
- Look search is coming soon!
Q&A Highlights [21:04]
- Nano Banana scope: photos only (edits photo looks). For voice changes, try different voice engines and tweak settings.
- Agent limits: free users get a few quality-mode creations; paid users choose Quality or Unlimited; top up credits as needed.
- Bring your own script: Agent will build a video with an avatar plus relevant stock/generative visuals.
- Accents: try Fish, Starfish, 11 Labs V2/V3; adjust stability/style; use the accent selector for accuracy. [35:30–37:31]
- Media sizing in Agent: if images import too large, share the session; the team will review (beta feedback welcome).
