I'm currently experimenting with HeyGen to create AI-driven avatars of key characters from a novel—like Lone Star Oil CEO Richard Sinclair, his eccentric TikTok-famous twin brother Asher Sinclair ("The Litter Leaguer"), a uniquely offbeat minor character called The Mumbler (including an AI-generated song for his segment), and Texas Tribune photojournalist Skylar Bolt.

It's definitely an unproven concept, and even if it doesn't lead to significant engagement—especially since authors in general don't have deep pockets for promotion—I'm genuinely enjoying the creative process itself to inspire not only authors but also traditional publishers. Next, I'll be working on a BOFU (bottom-of-the-funnel) concept to see how far I can push this idea.
