I think interactive avatars are great. One thing that we would like to see more of is gestures, more facial expressions and natural movement. 

Interactive Avatars answer questions in real time like a real human they should also move like one. 

For example, someone asks the avatar a question that is irrelevant to the topic or their knowledge base. the Avatar should should have an expression of “confusion” and answer to reroute the conversation back to it's knowledge base.  

Or maybe be able to add instructions to the knowledge base where we can make the avatar show a specific gesture if they are talking about a certain topic. 

Video avatars recently have gesture controls and voice director, hoping to see that in the interactive avatars soon!
