HeyGen is launching a new AI Editing Studio very soon, and we're offering community members some early access to try it out! 

HeyGen's current Editing Studio is timeline-based, and the new Editing Studio will be text-based. Our research shows this may be more intuitive for the majority of our users and allow for an easier experience with transitions, timing on-screen elements (text, graphics) and editing scripts.

If I encounter a bug or have feedback, how do I share it?

Your feedback is extremely valuable to us! Please share it by using the Feedback button in the top right corner of the studio and feel free to reply in the thread below.

Once granted access by our team, the ‘Test new editor’ button will appear in your editing studio. Click this to navigate to the new editor!

Can I revert to the old editor if I want to and how will this affect my past projects?

You can switch back to the old editing studio at any time by clicking the ‘Use the old editor’ button. Past projects created in the old editing studio will continue to open in the old editing studio, and new projects created in the new editing studio will open there.

Are all the features of the old editor available in the new editor?

We're still actively migrating to the new editor, but most features are available today in the new one! Certain templates will only open in the old editor.
