Using Interactive Avatars within HeyGen

Interactive Avatars bring a lifelike human presence to AI solutions—combining natural facial expression, lip sync, and body language to enable Realtime, 24/7 conversations that feel attentive and engaging.
With low-latency performance at scale, you can deliver spontaneous 1:1 interactions that help users get answers, explore products, and make decisions faster—on websites, in apps, and across campaigns.
What you’ll do
- Create one Interactive Avatar backed by a simple Knowledge Base (stock or custom).
- Configure voice/tone and test core user questions.
- Submit your HeyGen interactive avatar link
Steps
1. Go to apps → all apps → Interactive avatar
2. Create a new Interactive Avatar and follow the guided setup.
3. Choose a Knowledge Base:
- Stock (quick start), or
- Custom (add 5–10 Questions and answers the interactive avatar can say).
4. Note: Processing can take up to ~24 hours before the avatar is ready.
5. Configure voice and tone, then test a few representative questions.
6. When ready, copy the HeyGen Share/Workspace link.
Submission
- From HeyGen, copy the Share/Workspace link to your Interactive Avatar and submit that link.
Assessment
- Responsiveness & clarity — answers are helpful and easy to follow
- Natural delivery — smooth lip-sync, clear voice, attentive expression
- Fit for purpose — tone and content align with the intended use case
