This checklist is your 30-day guide to a successful launch. We've found that admins who follow these steps see the highest team adoption and get the most value from their subscription. We'll email you a reminder for each major step, but you can always use this complete guide as your single source of truth.
Let's get your team set up for success!
Phase 1: Get Your Workspace Ready
Goal: Get the foundation right. Your focus this week is to set up your workspace and get your core team members in and excited.
- Watch the Admin Setup Guide (13 Min): Get a complete overview of your new admin powers, security settings, and how to manage your workspace.
- Invite Your Core Team: This is where the magic happens! Invite your first users and assign them the correct roles.
- Ensure Team Activation: An invite isn't a login! Check your admin panel to see who has accepted their invite and logged in. Follow up to make sure everyone is officially on board.
- (Optional) Configure SSO: For seamless and secure access, set up Single Sign-On for your organization. This makes logging in a breeze for your team.
- (Optional) Create Subspaces: In your Members & Spaces tab you can create subspaces to organize video files by department or project
Phase 2: Create & Customize
Goal: Start creating! This week is all about building your first avatar videos and tailoring HeyGen to your brand. This is a great opportunity to create a video to share with your team.
- Create Your First Instant Avatar: Create your own digital twin in minutes and encourage your team to do the same.
- Make Your First Avatar Video: Put your new avatar to work. Create and share your first video to understand the core workflow. (Pro-tip: make a short intro video about HeyGen with your own avatar speaking multiple languages!)
- (Recommended) Upload Your Brand Kit: Upload your company logos, fonts, and color palettes for your whole team to access to keep your messages on-brand.
Phase 3: Scale Your Content
Goal: Expand your reach. Now it's time to explore the video translation tools that take one piece of content and adapt it for a global audience.
- Translate Your First Video: Take a video you've already made and translate it into a new language with only a few clicks.
- (Pro-Tip) Refine & Export Your Translations to dial in the perfection:
- Use Dynamic Duration to make the translated speech sound more natural.
- Export your script as an SRT/CSV file for captions or review.
Phase 4: Drive Team Adoption
